Gillette Go

Razor Handle

Gillette RZRMKR Competition, 2016

The following project formed my entry for the Gillette RZRMKR competition, where I tried to reinvent the Gillette razor handle using 3D printing.

I found that no high-end shaving companies sell highly portable razor’s: most are offered by start-ups, using poor quality blades. Instead, I started this design from the best blades available, and made a portable razor handle to accommodate them. This ensured portability, but not at the expense of a clean shave.

The final design allows the razor to be slid into the handle – acting as a container for travel. It also promotes a more natural wiping motion for shaving, but can be held in other orientations to suit your shaving needs.

The design was awarded 3rd place, and the rights purchased by Gillette.
